Our site is now dedicated to promoting modern and post modern art by artists with a significant connection with West Yorkshire.
At it its heart is a dictionary of artists that we think fit into that category going back to the turn of the century. It is a substantial list with a remarcable number of the important international artists of the last 100 years. New artists and links to images are being added regularly, and we hope to start introducing some short appreciations and bibliographies soon
There is a short introductory essay by Mike Hughes, who compiles the dictionary, and makes the case for the artistioc importance of the region.

There is a feed from our Facebook Page which carries news of exhibitions and other events featuring artists in the dictionary.
HoMA no longer exists as a selling gallery.
It is an online dictionary promoting the role of West Yorkshire in Modern Art since the start of the twententh century.
